Cyclist Seriously Injured by Hit and Run Driver, Police Looking for White Jeep

Berkeley Police Sgt. Andrew Rateaver and an unidentified motorist help an injured cyclist on San Pablo Avenue at Blake Street in Berkeley Wednesday morning after the cyclist was hit by a white Jeep that left the scene. The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland, his condition unknown. The man was bleeding from his head when he was loaded into the ambulance about 10 minutes later. (Photo by Doug Oakley)
